Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of multiple cash accounts daily including determining cash requirements and cash advance requests.
  • Track, code and record employee travel and other credit card expense.
  • Responsible for tracking capex requests, running depreciation reports and booking related entries to GL.
  • Prepares monthly journal entries and verifies accuracy, completeness, and consistency during the month end closing process.
  • Performs account reconciliation at month end including variance analysis compared to budgets and prior year.

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A./B.S./BBA Accounting Major
  • 2 or more years of accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and proficient in excel.
  • Must have interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of organization and externally.
  • Looking for quick learner and problem solver with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
